Colloidal Silver For Treating Pet Diseases

COLLODIALSILVERBOTTLEwhiteCOLLODIALSILVERBOTTLEwhiteColloidal Silver stops the growth of one-celled organisms dead in their tracks!

Bacteria and viruses are completely deactivated through the organism’s oxygen metabolism enzymes being surrounded with the Colloidal Silver molecular field which destroys its’ cell membranes, stopping the replication of its’ DNA.

The historical use of the mineral silver by humans is long and indisputable. For thousands of years, it has been used for the same reasons people are using it now. From mankind’s earliest history, silver has been used in the making of food and drink vessels, as well as eating utensils.

Today, silver is being used in swimming pool filters, hot tubs instead of chlorine, food cutting boards, bandages, burn dressings, and water filters for NASA.

There are many Colloidal silver uses for treating pet diseases of all kinds.  It is a broad spectrum anti microbial natural product. It is highly affective against 650 viral and bacteria organisms.

Why would I  recommend using  colloidal silver for dogs and cats?

  • Because it is cheap, it  is tasteless and easy to administer  to pets. And it really does the job!sickpuppy
  • Colloidal Silver it is a super effective and very safe antibiotic with absolutely no side effects.
  • It treats and removes viruses, bacteria and fungi without damaging the surrounding healthy cells.
  • Colloidal silver has been used very effectively to treat bacterial, fungal and viral infections in pets just as well as it does in humans.
  • Because colloidal silver is, almost tasteless, odorless and non-toxic, you can use it for all pets, including cats and dogs internally and externally.

If you are looking for a holistic, natural alternative to treat your pets and avoid expensive veterinary bills, colloidal silver can be just the ‘cure all’ for many of the  little pet problems we  are often regularly encountering as animal owners.

This is one of my all time favorites in treating pet diseases of all types to help us  avoiding running to the Veterinarian’s office  when something seems wrong with our beloved furry friends!

Whether you are looking for a disease preventative, a way to treat your pet’s infection or deal with illness or other health  concerns-  it can help your pet with many little  issues. It is an inexpensive alternative to drugs.

It can be used as an alternative to pharmaceutical antibiotics, and it is much more effective at stopping preventing and treating diseases in your dog or cat, than most pharmaceuticals the Vet would prescribe to your pet.

Colloidal Silver Treats the Deadly Canine Parvo Virus Effectively

Parvo is one of the most feared and deadliest viruses  out there among dog and kennel owners. It spreads like wildfire and is a horrible disease for puppies to contract. However,  colloidal silver is  the perfect alternative treatment for dogs suffering from parvo, and according to those that have used it on their dogs it has saved a lot of lives

. On the other hand, conventional veterinary medicines have problems with their antibiotics, which do nothing to stop viral infections.  Yet, this is what they will  prescribe to your dog or pup  in cases of canine parvo and about 80% of the time, the dog doesn’t survive it. ( See more about Parvo here:  Parvo Article )

Vet administering ear drops to a Blue-cream and white cat with ear mitesUse it for Cats as Well

Colloidal silver is great for treating cats because it has no odor and is not going to  be harmful to them if you put it on their fur.

In the event where your kitty suffers from any type of  bacterial, viral or fungal skin condition, colloidal silver can be used.

It is actually good for them and a preventative as well. While using high quality essential oils on your pets  are very effective in treating a variety of conditions and are  safe to use on dogs, they should not  be used on cats.  But, you can easily feel good about the use of  colloidal silver on your beloved kitty without fear.  ( can use it to spray on cats for fleas!)

A few drops 2 or 3 times a day of colloidal silver in the ears of your pet with an ear infection is a safe, fast and effective  alternative way to treat ear conditions.

There’s no need for a  $200 trip to the veterinarian for expensive pharmaceutical drugs to treat the condition.

Topical and Oral Treatments

Colloidal silver is  the perfect, natural alternative to both pharmaceutical antibiotics and prescription or over-the-counter anti-fungal treatments for your pets.

It can be given to your pet in his or her water bowl, given directly into her mouth  or applied to his skin or fur a few times a day.  A few squirts of colloidal young-persian-cat-sitting-17952898silver makes an ideal eyewash for dogs and cats  with eye infections.

Persian cats and Maltese dogs  are especially prone to such infections and must have their eyes washed daily.  Using colloidal silver gives that extra antibiotic protection.

A few drops of colloidal silver can do the job in a day or two. Give it a try and you will be surprised!! Back when I first found out about using colloidal silver on pets I researched  the differences of using wormers compared to colloidal silver and found that it really does work for parasites.

Always searching for a safer way to treat my puppy for worms,  after reading  the  many references for colloidal silver for worms in dogs,  I bought the 20ppm kind and next time my little dog had symptoms of worms  I gave her about 100 ml a day.

Colloidal silver for treating canine worms is one of the other uses in dogs.  It is believed that colloidal silver can work to kill all the canine worms that thrive in a dog’s body. Taken by mouth or applied to the skin, colloidal silver can kill canine worms in just a matter of six minutes, I have read.

Colloidal silver can eliminate the canine worms through normal means, but the treatment’s effectiveness depends largely on how severe the condition is in your dog. If the canine worm infestation is too severe, additional treatments should also be considered aside from just the silver.

According the experts that recommend this protocol, it is best to make sure your animal has access to plenty of water at all times. The water can help your pet feel better, and can help  them to eliminate the worms more easily. Colloidal silver for worms in dogs  works in a simple manner. It kills the parasites inside the body by destroying the enzymes that metabolize oxygen in the parasites’ bodies.

Once the enzymes are destroyed, the canine worms are deprived of oxygen, suffocate, and soon die. I used 20 ppm in concentration. And the symptoms dissipated in a few days, just as with chemical wormers but this time there were no side effects, digestion was normal. Colloidal silver for dogs and cats really works.

Other Ways to Keep your Pets Healthy with Colloidal Silver

Pets need to brush their teeth.  But since they can’t we need to do something to help them with their teeth problems.  Colloidal Pets-Teeth-HealthyPets-Teeth-Healthysilver can be applied straight into a pet’s mouth to help remove the bacteria, heal oral tissues and keep the gums and teeth clean.  For dogs, it can also be added to homemade tooth powders and rinses. Whether your pets live outdoors or indoors, they will be cleaner  and much healthier  when you use colloidal silver on them on a regular basis.

I started giving it to my small dog Juniper after noticing her teeth looked  covered with plaque  at only two years old.  She loves lapping  the colloidal silver right out of my hand.  She sees the spray bottle and actually begs for  it.  About 6 months later I took her for a check up and the vet looked and remarked how beautiful her teeth looked!!  That was when I noticed how her teeth had completely transformed into clean perfect canines!   Keep your pet’s bed clean and free of bacteria and parasites  by regularly spraying  the bedding down with undiluted colloidal silver and allow it to air dry. One or two tablespoons of colloidal silver in your pet’s water dish will keep his immune system strong and help prevent disease so you can have a healthy pet for years to come.

  • Prevent Fleas on Both Dogs and Cats – Colloidal silver  can be used  for fleas by spraying it into your pets skin and fur  once a day when you are seeing fleas and  adding  about an ounce or so of nano-particle colloidal silver into their water bowl daily during flea and tick season.

I have  just heard from someone  that has done this with her pets and find it works!  They don’t have fleas!  These people that normally  are  forced to use the strong, spot-on flea pesticides early in the spring , but  since using the CS she said she hasn’t had to use any more after applying it  and giving the solution in the waterbowl on a daily basis!   It’s almost unbelievable, but if it  works, this is fantastic!

For a holistic treatment I would use the CS  along with the Pet Protector .

Preserve any containers of  opened pet food in the refrigerator and make it last a few days longer by adding a few drops of colloidal silver to it. If your pet is injured or hurt, spray or dab colloidal silver on the wound as soon as possible after the wounding and bandage it until it heals.

Your pets are part of your family. Care for them like any other family members with colloidal silver and protect them from unnecessary, expensive trips to the veterinarian. Your cats and dogs will live longer, healthier life’s because of it .

Colloidal Silver Dosage – Basic Guidelines

Use Colloidal Silver in its pure state,  do not dilute it with other liquids or water unless putting in the pet’s waterbowl for maintenance.

Maintenance dose: Recommended ingestion for most pets- One teaspoon to 1 Tablespoon daily  in waterbowl depending on size.

(We recommend ½ dosages on for smaller pets under 10lbs.)

    Hi,

I just bought some colloidal silver for my 4 month old Scottish Terrier puppy. He had stomach surgery 8 days ago to remove 4 big pieces of swallowed bone. His intestines have also been lacerated by tiny shards. I think he is fighting some post operative infection, he’s totally lethargic and still won’t eat anything, though he drinks water by himself and hasn’t vomited since yesterday. Is it safe to give him colloidal silver if he has a recovering cut in his stomach? Also, does colloidal silver kill beneficial bacteria? Thanks for any advice.

      Hi Sharon,

I am so sorry to hear about your Angel. I hardly think the lavender would have caused the cancer, although essential oils can be toxic to cats in high doses see this article: http://www.naturalcatcareblog.com/2012/05/cats-and-essential-oils-perfectly-safe-now-exploring-the-controversy/ .

If it were my kitty I would add about a teaspoon of Colloidal Silver to her bowl of water daily and double the dosage you are currently giving in the dropper directly into her mouth.

That is just want I would do however, and I am not saying that is ‘right’. You should do what feels right to you. Obviously your Veterinarian is not going to recommend it or say it is the right thing to do. Just make sure she is getting alot of CS in her mouth several times a day. That is my advice. It is not going to harm her to get a higher dose of CS for a while while the cancer cells are dying.

Also get her on a top quality raw food diet if she is not already on it.

Please Sharon let me know how she does OK? Best of luck and sending healthy prayers out to you and your beloved Angel.

Yes absolutely! It is for pets or people. Same as what they sell in health food stores. Equivalent to 20 ppm micro particle Colloidal Silver for human consumption.

          Enjoy!

I am so sorry Sunshine. It sounds like it could be very well be Parvo. But you will need to take him to the Vet for a diagnosis to be sure what is going on. Please read this here: http://holisticpetcareproducts.com/natural-cures-for-parvo/

Treating Parvo can be tricky, but if your vet does not offer anything that works – I recommend going after parvo aggressively with holistic methods. First of all you will need a couple of quarts of Colloidal Silver.. Do you access to it?

This is a very time consuming method but you can and will most likely save the live of your puppy.

You will need to administer it to him every couple of hours throughout the night and day until you see he is are fully recovered – You will need to give them on average a quart or 2 per day of 20ppm colloidal silver depending on the size of the pup.

All the while In between these doses of colloidal silver you will give him activated charcoal water (2 tbsp of activated charcoal to 1 cup water) two times a day. You will need to have an oral syringe to get this down them.

You have to be extremely diligent with this protocol. Don’t give up with all colloidal silver, keep giving HUGE amounts even up to 3 or 4 quarts. Whatever you do DO NOT give up!

. Colloidal silver is widely known to eliminate the deadly parvo- however, you must consistent.

If you have other dogs on the property that have been exposed give it to them as well in large doses.

      Hi Noemia,

Yes it is confusing with all the Silver Products on the Market today. Most of the Colloidal Silver that is 10-20 PPM is plenty for treating most issues with animals, unless it is a very serious cancer situation, in that case it couldn’t hurt to get the highest quality, most expensive CS you can afford.

However, one good thing to know beside PPM is the particle size. The smaller the particle such as nano-particle or microns, the better chance it has at eliminating certain viruses. It is has to be small to be able to penetrate viral cell walls.

For most uses – as a preventative, for ulcers, sores, cuts, eyes, teeth, infections….these kind of conditions, 10ppm – and above lets say 1 micron still works amazingly well on those conditions. The very best Colloidal Silver is highly bio-available with silver particles as low as .0008 microns small, they are about as close to being “dissolved” silver particles as you can get.

The generator I use produces Nano-particles and is 20 PPM.

Using 10 PPM will work just fine in Bella’s eyes. Don’t hesitate to use it. Whatever CS you can get of good quality will do the job, and very fast usually.

Also, may I also recommend homeopathic EUPHRASIA- I love this remedy for anything to do with eyes in pets. Just get 30 c if you can, dissolve in distilled water, shake it up real good and use dropper to put in eye. 2- 3 x per day. This medicine helps in treating allergy symptoms like watering of eyes and bland discharges. It even gives fast relief from burning sensation in eyes and helps in clearing vision almost instantaneously.

      Hi Zorina,

If it were my dog I wouldn’t hesitate to give CS along side the heartworm meds. I would give about a Tablespoon in waterbowl daily- I feel it would help balance the immune system, and back up what the heart med is doing. However, they say you should always do your own research and check it out, and of course always follow the protocol of your veterinarian. ;-)

The bottom line is the allopathic Medical system doesn’t endorse colloidal silver for several reasons. It is not FDA approved due to one case of a man turning blue that was taking large doses of it for a long time. So what can I say.

I believe Colloidal Silver is very effective to help rid the body of parasites and pathogens. It was well know way back early last century, but when big Pharma came in with expensive drugs and medicine, they condemned colloidal Silver, because it is cheap and anyone can make it.

I suggest to make you own and give it to your pets, your family and spray the roses for aphids with it! It is a cure-all and does not interfere with other meds as far as I know, from the studies I have done, but I have nothing to back that up, and have not used heartworm meds on my own dog.

Hi, Zorina my cat is 17 years old and is about 6 lbs at least that is what they told me at vet. She is not doing well, I took her to vet and they said there was nothing wrong with her stools, when it was runny and smelly. She only has runny stools when she normally goes to restroom. At least she does not have a stool every time she eats. I spent a lot of money at the vet just to be told nothing is wrong with her stool. Now she gives me problem with eating food, she wants a different kind every time she eats. I have wasted cat food a lot of times. I think she has the runs cause of to many changes in her diet. I’m so frustrated she wants chicken, baby food, and all that but only eats cat food once in a while. And boy is she commanding. Every once in a while she gets in this kick that she wants meats, then she will not eat her cat food. I can let her go without and tell her you’ll get hungry and eat it. And she will not. It is like she wants variety does not eat the same thing twice. And only 2 small bites at a time. I wanted to know what would be the dose(Silver) by mouth for a 6 lb cat? And how often to give her. Signed I’m starting to feel like a yoyo. Every 5 -8 minutes I have to get up and feed her. Cause she only eats about 2 little bites at each meal. She also sheds way to much. Thank you for your help in advance.

          Hi Amber,

First off is from what I am reading that your cat needs to be on an all raw meat diet, which cats do best on all in all. However transistioning your cat needs to be done carefully- see this link( http://www.radfood.com/transitioning_your_cat )

Cats are predators. They evolved eating a prey based diet, and more importantly, eating that diet raw. Cooking degrades nutrients in meat, causing losses of vitamins, minerals and amino acids.¹ Meat used in highly processed pet food is cooked at high temperatures and the nutrients lost must then be added back in. This supplementation is not exact, and there are nutrient losses which aren’t always replaced.

Cats in the wild eat often eat the entire prey animal if it is small and will eat nearly everything except the intestines of a larger prey animal. This includes the bones of their prey, as raw bone is highly digestible and is their primary source of calcium. Cooking bone not only reduces the nutrients available but also makes the bone brittle and dangerous to ingest.²

Providing your cats with a diet that is modeled on what they would eat in the wild has many benefits, for you and your cat.

          Improved digestion
Greatly reduced stool odor and volume
Healthy coat, less shedding, fewer hairballs
          Increased energy
          Weight loss, if overweight
          Better dental health
          Better urinary health

          Improved Digestion

Cats are obligate carnivores, they must eat meat. Their digestive systems are adapted specifically for a meat based diet. A cat’s digestive tract is short and acidic, and processes a species-appropriate raw diet highly efficiently in about 12 hours. This gives very little time for bacteria to proliferate, so cats are naturally resistant to food poisoning.³

Cats have no requirement for carbohydrates and limited ability to digest them. For cats, a raw meat diet is more digestible than a diet of plant based foods.⁴ Because they evolved eating a diet with almost no carbohydrates, they have only one enzyme system capable of handling them. This is quite different from humans and dogs who have multiple enzyme systems that digest carbohydrates.⁵

Greatly Reduced Stool Odor and Volume

When cats are fed a proper diet, their bodies use most of their food, so there is much less stool volume. Stool production can be cut in half. They also eliminate less often, sometimes once a day or even less. Their stools are often dry, a little crumbly and hardly smell at all. In the wild, this makes sense for a predator that is small enough to also have to worry about being preyed upon itself. It wouldn’t want to be leaving too many smelly advertisements of its presence.

When cats are fed a diet with a large amount of carbohydrates, their systems will struggle to digest the excess carbs. Since much of what they eat isn’t being efficiently processed by their systems, the amount of waste is much greater than it should be. Those big, gloppy, smelly puddles in the litter box are not normal.

Healthy Coat, Less Shedding, Fewer Hairballs

After a few weeks on a raw diet, people notice that their cat’s coat has gotten softer and silkier. Cats require unsaturated fatty acids, omega-6 and omega-3, in their diets. These need to be from animal sources, as cats have a limited ability to make these acids from plant derived precursors. These essential fatty acids contribute to healthy skin and coats, reducing shedding and thus the incidence of hairballs.⁶

          Increased Energy

After switching to a raw diet, people notice how much more energy their cats have. Couch potatoes start running around and playing! Through a species-appropriate raw diet, cats are getting more readily available energy from their food.

Cats are uniquely adapted to utilize protein for their energy requirements. Cats essentially “burn” protein, turning it into energy in their liver in a process called gluconeogenesis. Animals such as dogs and humans also burn protein in this way, but turn it on and off depending on how much protein is available. Cats can’t do this; their “burn rate” is always on high, thus their absolute requirement for high quality protein from meat sources.⁷

          Weight Loss

If your cats are overweight, they will most likely start to lose weight on a raw diet. Cats will overeat when fed an improper diet, trying to make up for the nutritional deficiencies in the food. Usually they won’t overeat when fed a species-appropriate raw diet, as the diet is satisfying to them. They don’t feel hungry all the time. Cats that used to wake you up in the middle of the night for food, acting as if they are starving, start sleeping right through the night. The increase in energy they have will also help them burn off more calories.

          Better Dental Health

Just as in humans, dental health in cats partly depends on genetics. Cats in the wild usually don’t have gum disease or tooth loss due to periodontal disease. Why? Chewing on raw bones, meat, connective tissue, skin and nfur helps keep the teeth clean. Carbohydrates create a starchy film that promotes plaque buildup and encourages gum disease. Carbohydrate laden food will not help control tartar. Reducing or eliminating carbohydrates in your cats diet will help keep dental disease at bay, and providing raw meaty bones to chew on is “nature’s toothbrush” for cats.⁸ This is important as the bacteria from dental infections can spread to other parts of the body.

I hope this helps- and yes give you cat Colloidal Silver. (see treatment guidelines above) http://holisticpetcareproducts.com/colloidal-silver-uses-treating-pet-diseases/ Give at least 5 cc or one teaspoon 3x daily to help your cat recover her immune system.

          Blessings on your Kitty!!

I have 2 kittens (currently apx 7 wks old) who are suffering from tape worms, I’m looking for an alternative to the drontal. i am also hoping to boost their immune systems. i took them from their feral mother at 3 wks old because she was sick, neglecting them and they were near death. they have diarrhea, fluctuating appetites, some times vomiting and i think all of this is due to the tapeworm. the drontal is only suppose to be used in cats 2lbs or more, these kittens are bairly a pound. what is the dosage/ particle ratio of C.S. i can give them? i;m getting some 30ppm from a local organics store because i need a solution ASAP. will this work for tape worms? i heard to do 15 drops day/ 15 night, but this seems to be too much, if i dont get a reply soon im just going to start them at 2-3 drops 2x day and put it in their water, does that seem about right?

Yes, give the colloidal silver asap! I would give them, if they were my kittens at least 1/2 to 1 dropperful (30 drops) of 20-30 ppm CS 2 to 3 times a day. Do this for 2 weeks and then add same amount (about 1 teaspoon) to waterbowl daily as a preventative. Actually add the CS to waterbowl now as well as direct dosing. Also get them on a healthy raw meat diet right away. The colloidal silver will help them immensely. Don’t worry about overdosing them. It is very hard to overdose anything on colloidal silver. That would only happen with very high doses over a very long period. ( over a year)

Good Luck and let me know how they do OK?

    Hello,
My holistic vet has recommended C.S. for our cat who is very old and has chronic diarrhea. We’ve done several tests and nothing conclusive. She is on several holistic and homeopathic remedies. She is also on thyroid meds for hyperthyroid. The vet says she is a carrier for a few viruses. I believe this is why she has recommended the C.S. She told us to give 1 dropper full 2x/day for 3 days. I know this isn’t much but still, we have read some controversial info about C.S. and it’s safety for both humans and animals. Some say that it can be toxic and some say they’ve turned blue using it etc. I’m wondering if these were cases where excessive amounts were taken? What are your thoughts?

      Hi Lore,

Yes that sounds like a great idea- your Vet’s recommendation. If it were my cat I would give the Colloidal Silver for much longer than 3 days however. I would give it for a few months or until everything is completely back to normal. One thing I have found is Colloidal Silver is not an immediate fix like anti-biotics. It takes sometimes longer, but the results are phenomenal. My dog and myself have been on daily maintenance doses of Colloidal Silver for over a year. I personally take about 1 ounce 2 x a day after brushing my teeth. I gargle with it, and then swallow it. My hygienist was surprised that I had no plaque at all- after not having a cleaning done in a very long time!

My 10 pound dog, Juniper has not been sick and nor have I since we have been taking the CS. Plus I am a caregiver and am around people that are sick. I have never caught any kind of a virus or bug since I started on it. Plus- our skin is just fine- no blue tinting whatsoever! :-) I give her about a tablespoon in her water bowl everyday. Although she doesn’t drink the entire bowl by the time I change it, she drinks most of it.( her teeth are beautiful by the way!) I have known many people that have been giving it their pets and taking it themselves for years with no side effects at all. Also, she runs up to get some every time she sees me take out the spray bottle, she laps it right out of my hand. I think she instinctively knows it is good for her. Since it is mostly tasteless but somewhat metallic – I am sure she is not going for the flavor or good taste, she just loves the stuff!

I do recommend giving some kind of probiotic, yogurt, or kombucha on a regular basis. I make my own kombucha and drink it everyday. You can purchase probiotics to give to the kitty at the health food store. My advice: DOn’t worry about overdosing on colloidal silver or turning blue unless you are doing a very excessive amount.
I would give the cat 1 full dropper 3-4 x a day plus a teaspoon in the drinking bowl, if it were my pet.

Good luck and please let me know how it works for your furry friend OK?

      Blessings,
      Jewel

Oh Sandra- I am sorry to hear about your Pup. I am sure the mange is terribly uncomfortable for the little guy. Yes, spray colloidal silver on the mange 3-4 x per day. Also put about a tablespoon or so in his waterbowl daily. It is not going to interfere with the antibiotics. I believe the CS would do the trick without the doremectin, but you could use them together as a double whammy. If it were my dog I may just go for the colloidal silver internally and externally without either antibiotics or doremectin depending on the severity of it, but since you are using these treatments at least use colloidal silver topical – spray it or dab it on with a cotton ball the effected areas 3-4x daily. Good luck clearing it up and get back to us about how it all works out!

    Hi-
I’ve been using the Collidal silver on my 5 lb Chihuahua who had patches of fur coming off. I’ve been putting a tablespoon in their water bowl (but haven’t changed out the water bowl daily for it will last a few days – should I replace the water with the CS daily)? I’ve also been wiping her fur (and bald spots) with a cotton ball soaked in CS 2x a day and in just this past week see improvement. Second question – does the CS need to be refrigerated? Final question – is their an expiration date to the CS bottles? I couldn’t find anything

      Hi Mayra,
Yes, I do recommend changing the water bowl daily. For a small dog like a 5 lb Chihuahua – one Teaspoon is probably enough, (but a tablespoon daily isn’t too much if he needs healing from an infection or something)- make sure you put it in a smaller amount of water that is going to be consumed by the dog in one day. This is best to make sure they are getting the entire dose.(depending on what you are treating them for of course) Or give them a spoonful direct into their mouth with a syringe or often they will lap it up right out of your hand. My dog loves it. Especially if you are actually treating something as in the hotspot or skin condition you want to make sure they get a couple of daily doses. Also spray it on the skin condition for best results at least 3x a day. If you are just putting CS in the water as an immune system builder and for maintenance- then the way you mentioned above is fine.

The colloidal silver does not have an expiration date as it is very long lasting. WIth the Silver Generator we use it can last at least 3 Years, With Zero Precipitation. Colloidal Silver doesn’t “spoil” like most other supplements do. Since no organisms can live in CS, nothing can make it “spoil”. However it should be stored in a ‘cool’ place and out of direct light. It does not require refrigeration. do not refrigerate it.

As far as the time it takes to work goes- It takes about a week to start seeing improvements typically with something like skin conditions. Often times it improves right away. But for a small tumor or a growth it might take a few weeks.

I hope this answers your question, Mayra.

BTW- I did just package up another order for you. :-) It will go out in the morning and you should have it in a couple days!

Thank you so much for ordering from me -I really appreciate your business-

I hope your little Chi gets better very quickly!

Thanks so much for your reply. We’ve got more concerns to ask about. His suture has become, and remains, infected again and several inches of the suture has come apart about an 1/8 of an inch due to dead skin and tightness. Because of these issues the suture is not able to heal completely. Our vet says we can consider a third surgery though we’re not ok with that idea. Do you think CS could heal this type of open wound? If so, what is the most effective approach to take? And how long would it take to have an effect? Our deadline is fast approaching.

          HI Crystal,

I would spray the wound with CS 3-4 x per day. Continue to use it internally as well in pretty high doses. An ounce or so 3-4 times a day.

I would make a poultice with the cooking herb Turmeric. Some people apply turmeric to the skin for pain, ringworm, bruising, staph infections, leech bites, eye infections, inflammatory skin conditions, soreness inside of the mouth, and infected wounds.
I have used it with great success. It is very orange and it does stain, but it is a great option if you can deal with the coloring. Mix it with Colloidal SIlver and put it straight on the wound. I definitely would use both the CS and Turmeric together- but even the CS by itself if you cannot use the turmeric will work to heal the infection. Just keep it on there When the infection is clearing stop the turmeric – but keep using the CS, begin using fresh Aloe Vera and/or comfrey root or leave. You can actually but the comfrey root and make a solution out of it buy boiling it down and staining out the root pieces, use this as a poultice. ONLY use Comfrey on a wound once you’re sure any infection has been taken care of. It helps it heal over quickly. Long ago people used to squeeze the leaves of Comfrey over their wounds. The juice of the leaves would drip out, the skin around the wound would contract, and thus healing would take place.

Just keep it clean and keep the CS sprayed on it frequently. It will get rid of the infection- along with turmeric and comfrey it will grow back together again.
Don’t worry it will heal and be as good as new again.
Let me know how it goes OK? Good luck with your little guy!

            Hi Jewel,
This is awesome advice! We tried the turmeric and CS yesterday and today. Because of the location which is on the belly in between the back legs and the rawness/sensitivity we are finding it quite difficult to apply but managed somewhat and we found with spraying the CS the area tends to remain wet so we are not sure if that’s such a good idea. I suppose we could dab it dry a bit? I am wondering, do we just keep re-applying the turmeric or should we be trying to clean it with wet cloth in between applications. Now that the suture is orange it’s hard to tell if its dirty or still infected.

            Thank you!

          Hi Crystal,

Yes, keep applying fresh turmeric-when it dries spray with the CS- It will look messy and it is hard to see, but have faith that it will work.

Yes it is very orange and messy. But don’t worry….keep using it. . If you can clean it up a little in between applications that is good, but just keep keeping it damp with the CS and add more turmeric when the old application falls out.

Give it a couple more days and them clean it up with the colloidal silver and see how it looks. Once it t is better and starting to heal you can switch to comfrey/aloe vera.

Lets see how it goes. You can upload pics now on this forum. WHy don’t you upload a pic and let me have a look?

Hi Deana- Sounds like you have your hands full! I would use that ACV daily instead of weekly on your hound, but more importantly get her off the foods causing the allergies. I would try CS for the hip displasia but it all depends on alot of factors as colloidal silver is great for infections, cuts, funguses, inflammation of some kinds for sure and anything caused by bacteria- also helpful for parasites- because parasites cannot thrive in the same environment as silver. So if the ferret is dealing with gut bacteria, which is sounds like it would definitely help.

I am sorry I don’t give out free samples, but it is not expensive to purchase a small home CS generator. There is a guy online who I know, Joe, The colloidalsilverguy.com – he might even give you one. Although that kind is not as affective as the nano-particle CS it can still do the job in a pinch. Google it on youtube about how to make your own from batteries.

      Good Luck with your menagerie!

Hi. My doggie will be 17 1/2 in July. He is currently having problems with his right eye. Several months ago the vet told me he had a cholesterol deposit In his eye. Small solid white dot. It has increased in size and he is now having trouble with his eye. A lot of the time it is Half closed, it waters a lot and is really red under his top and bottom eyelid. I have been given some drops as pain relief. The vet spoke to me about younger dogs having their eye removed. I couldn’t put my best friend through something like that, but I don’t want to lose him. I went toy local health food shop to get eye right. The lady suggested cs to me. Can you advise if this will help at all. And how should I give it to him, and how much. Yogi also has a heart murmur and has been on heart medication for a few years. Can the cs still be giving to him. Also does cs have any affect on arthritis? Thanks for reading this. Hi Kate,

I would surely give him Colloidal Silver internally and externally if he where my dog. I’d get him on asap- I am not sure of his size but for a medium sized dog, about a Tablespoon 2-3 times daily in his mouth with a syringe or just let him lap it our of your hand, and about 1/2 to one dropperful in his eye everyday. ( 3 x a day) It is not going to affect the heart murmur as antibiotics can, and can help with the inflammation of arthritis it is said. You can spray it on the sore hips externally as well as internal for arthritic hip and legs.

I would definitely go for the CS for that eye. Make sure you use it long enough. Sometimes it can take several weeks of continual use to get the result, but well worth it. Then keep him on a maintenance dose of 1 T per day in his water bowl.

Good luck with your Senior Doggie Kate! Let me know how it goes- My prayers go out to him for a speedy recovery of that eye!

Sorry missed this question. If you can put about an ounce or so in the water a day as a preventative it should work. You might have to get your own CS generator and make it yourself with all the animals you have. Better to make sure they are getting there doses and put it in their mouth with a needless syringe. About a Tablespoon 3x a day while you are using it for healing a skin problem- or an health issue really. For the rabbits – put a teaspoon in their water every time you fill it. That should do it!

About an ounce 2-3 times a day wouldn’t be too much until the yeast subsides. Also spray it on the skin where the yeast is, and put in her waterbowl. Dose her up real good- it will go away in about a week or so.

Hi Deborah, hope you don’t mind my throwing my two cents worth in! Since dogs and cats are carnivores, which means they are meat eaters, your daughters dog should be eating a raw meat diet. If it isn’t, this could be why the dog seems to be allergic to “everything”. Generally speaking, most allergies develop because the animal is being fed cheap dry dog food. This kind of diet is unnatural and toxic to a dog or cats digestive system. This will cause the immune system to break down since the cheap, meatless varieties of pet food, (whether wet or dry), are void of any nutritional value. This sets the stage for many different forms of disease to invade the animals body and causes them to become ill. If you are supplementing with an organic form of dry food, free from any grains or chemicals and if it comes from a meat source, this is much better for a pets health. Most dry food forms are very unhealthy because most of it is made up of grains, such as corn or rice, with other toxic ingredients or chemicals. The animals digestive system will also suffer because it causes the pancreas to work over time trying to digest something it was never intended to be able to digest. There is a good probability that in time this can eventually lead to pancreatic or liver cancer. A raw food meat diet is optimal for dogs and cats since feeding them meat is a species appropriate diet. Keep giving the Colloidal Silver forever! It’s not just for pets, but for everyone!! A healthy, species appropriate diet equals a happy, healthy pet. I really hope your daughter’s dog can be free from its allergies and yeast problems.

I have him his does of cs both in his month and drops in his eye. He has also had his vet prescribed pain relief drops in his eye. I have a vet appointment tomorrow, but I’m worried about what he will say, given his age. Is there anything else you can suggest that is better than cs or faster acting. The vet seemed to this that his cholesterol deporting in his right eye might be irritating and causing all the redness on his eyeball. He wipes his eye on his bedding, so it is obviously causing him discomfort. The vet did indicate the in younger dos they may consider removing the eye. But I would not consider that given my dogs age. Please if you are able to suggest/recommend anything else, I would be truly grateful. Thank you.

Hi Kate-Not sure if you saw my previous message about this. Keep using the colloidal silver in the eye as drops. Also get homeopathic Euphrasia
A remedy that has been used for eye complaints, particularly infections of the eye and surrounding tissues. I have had great success with this and almost instant results in some cases. Several doses of 30c dissolved in a ounce bottle with eye dropper, shake until fully dissolved and then drop in eye several times a day. Use the CS too at a different time. 3 x for CS – 3 x for Euphrasia ( Eyebright) You can get it at a health food store. Ask for Homeopathic Eyebright.
Also, use a compress of chamomile tea to sooth the eye. Make a good strong tea – steeped about 20 minutes or so of chamomile tea. Then soak a gauze pad in it, wring it out and hold on the eye as long as possible. Do this s few times a day. Continue to give the colloidal silver into his mouth 3-4x a day. Be patient. Holistic healing takes time, but it is the way to go. No side effects! Let me know how it goes……

However when you do get the Colloidal Silver-put it directly into the yeasty ear 3 times a day with a needle-less syringe which you can get the pharmacy. Put it in and squish it around by holding the ear at the base on the outside and gently rubbing it around. I recommend doing it outdoors because the dog will shake it out afterwards. Do it as often as you can remember to – up to 7 times a day in the beginning if it is pretty bad- it won’t hurt to do this.

Also give in his water bowl about 1 tablespoon a day. It sound be better in a week or so.

HI! I’m sooo glad to have found your site, I’m in a bit of a panic! See, I started noticing blood in my 7 yr old female cat’s urine 2days ago. I don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but I recently changed her food to a grain/wheat/corn/soy free diet, and I switched her Kitty litter to a biodegradable pellet made from walnuts. So, when I saw this blood and the frequent times she was going to the litter box and trying to urinate, so naturally, now I’m worried. Being a believer in Colloidal Silver for many years, I keep a supply of MesoSilver at ALL TIMES. I started by taking 7 drops and diluting it in purified, and feeding her by the dropper very slowly first, because I am unsure of the dosages or really not sure if it would address her problem, since she has not been diagnosed by a Vet. Then, at dinner, I watered down her dry food and added a couple drops of CS to that as well, and she CHOWED DOWN! The good thing I noticed is she is still having bowel movements. I hope I have made the right decision using MesoSilver instead of taking her to a professional, but I really feel uneasy about antibiotics and stuff, so I PRAY I am not wasting precious time. I would be grateful for your input on this situation, my Tilly girl is so precious to me, I can’t bare her being sick like this. Thank you!

      Hi Alesha,

Your cat may be suffering from Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disorder. Which can possibly involve kidney stones. Taking your cat to the Vet is always first protocol in an emergency situation to get the proper diagnosis. We never like to see our pets suffer, especially if we don’t fully understand what is going on with them.

If it were my cat I would immediately take her to the Vet to rule out anything that might be life threatening such as kidney blockage. If she is having a hard time urinating – going to the litter box frequently and straining etc. This could be something such as kidney stones.

Anyway, with that being said, I would get her on a raw food diet asap….but changing gradually along with what you are already feeding. That is a primary cause of kidney and urinary tract problems- dry cat food.

Now about the Colloidal Silver. She is going to need about 3-4 doses a day a the very least. Up to 7 x daily is fine to be dosing any animal in an emergency. She could have 5-10 cc in a needless syringe directly into her mouth every few hours. ( about one teaspoon to one tablespoon is fine) She needs so much more then 7 drops. At least 2 dropperfuls if that is what you are administrating it with. OK? C
Also put about 1 tablespoon to one ounce in her waterbowl daily and encourage her to drink. OK? ‘High’ doses of CS are not going to hurt her at all. Just get it in her and as much as you can – Read more about raw meat for cats and you will understand why that is so importantcontinue this for about 2 weeks or until all signs of her issues have cleared and then continue the CS in her water for at least a month.

I hope this helps….let me know how she is doing OK?

      HI Jo,

I am so sorry to hear your cat died from salmonella- that is so sad. I feel if you had been giving CS in the water bowl it would have helped greatly. You could have treated it with aggressive doses of colloidal silver after the diagnosis- it could have saved your cat, depending on so many variables. It never hurts to always have a bottle on hand for emergency situations. I definitely believe it can wipe out salmonella. See report below from Silveredge.com

Is colloidal silver effective against the Salmonella pathogen?

The bad news is that while there are over 2,300 different strains of Salmonella, only a small handful of these strains have been clinically studied in relation to colloidal silver.

The good news is that in virtually every one of these studies, colloidal silver proved to be more than capable of destroying the Salmonella pathogen tested!

Indeed, Salmonella infection is one of the 109 diseases documented to have been widely treated with colloidal silver before the advent of prescription antibiotic drugs in the 1940’s.

More recently, in the well-known studies conducted by microbiologist David A. Revelli and Professor of Microbiology/Molecular Biology Dr. Ron W. Leavitt, Ph.D at Brigham Young University in May 1999…

…a colloidal silver solution was able to kill two different strains of the Salmonella food-poisoning pathogen, at extremely low concentrations.

Here’s a brief synopsis of what the researchers discovered:

Salmonella arizona (Food poisoning, etc.) inhibited @ 2.5 ppm and killed @ 5 ppm. 1/28/99 BYU Report.

Salmonella typhimurium (Food poisoning and enteric fever) inhibited and killed at a concentration of 2.5 ppm. 6/7/99 BYU Report.

What’s more, in a clinical study titled “Colloidal Silver As A New Antimicrobial Agent,” published in the International Journal of Microbiological Research (1 (1): 33-36, 2010), colloidal silver was demonstrated to be highly effective against Salmonella typhi and three other serious, disease-causing pathgoens.

      The study concluded:

“The initial idea was to determine the antimicrobial activity of colloidal silver, so it could be used as a powerful in vitro antimicrobial agent…

Antimicrobial activity was determined by means of agar diffusion. Resistant clinical isolates of Staphyloccocus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aregnosa, and Salmonella typhi were used as the test organisms…

In the present experiment colloidal silver showed highly potent antibacterial activity toward all tested pathogens, both Gram-positive and Gram-negative.”

And according to silvermedicine.org, additional clinical studies have demonstrated the powerful infection-fighting qualities of colloidal silver against Salmonella pathogens. For example:

“In a time-kill study conducted by University of North Texas clinical researcher Mark A. Farinha, Ph.D., Professor of Microbiology, when Salmonella typhimurium was tested against a popular colloidal silver product…

…the result was a reduction in population counts from over 10 million to undetectable in four minutes of exposure!”

In the above study, “two concentrations of isolated silver were used, one 15 PPM isolated colloidal silver and one 30 PPM isolated colloidal silver…

…The 30 PPM colloidal silver achieved results markedly faster, although both formulations achieved the desired results within four minutes.”

Of course, these are in vitro (i.e., test tube) studies, so technically they don’t prove oral use of colloidal silver to be effective against a Salmonella infection in humans.

But they do demonstrate that when colloidal silver and Salmonella come into direct contact with one another, Salmonella loses the battle!

    Hello,
I do animal rescue with cats and kittens. I have had eye issues and uri and the vets try to help, but finally found the silver idea, but my holistic store had 45 ppm. I have a Siamese that had pneumonia and still his eyes are squinty. I wonder if I could use this higher dose in their waterfall dish, and I’d change it daily. What about for the eyes the dose, these ppm’s? Do I need a 10 or 20. Tapeworms and intestinal issues this can help? Spaying on their coats? I have two ferals and need to get all healthy. I tried raw the frozen tube….they walked away. I spend so much on food, only holistic. Any guidance would be appreciated. Donalee

      Hi Donalee,

Yes you can definitely use the 45 pmm in their water bowl. It is fine to use on their eyes as well. The main difference is that the particles may be bigger on the higher PPM products, which makes them fine for topical treatment, but when using them internally you will need to give your pets some probiotics as well. I recommend this product> NWC Naturals- Total-Biotics – Probiotics for Canines and Felines – Treats 100 Cups of Pet Food (Superior Formula)>

I would recommend you do use the 10-20 PMM CS if you are going to be doing this on a continuous basis with you cats. This 45ppm is too for maintenance and too much $$ to continue regularly. I definitely think putting it in their water regularly kills the parasites and keeps away other pathogens as well.

As far as the raw food goes- sometimes you can go to your local butcher and ask if they can grind up some of the chicken necks for your feral cats. You might be able to strike up any arrangement getting chicken parts for the cats, which they usually really enjoy!

      Good Luck with everything!

    Hi,

My dog has a soft tissue tumor on her hind leg. She had biopsy and are still waiting for the results. I started giving her 20ppm colloidal silver about 2 weeks prior to biopsy 1 teaspoon 3 times a day, and still continuing with the same dose. Her biopsy wound is not healing well, and has a fever (38,5 – 39,7 – about 39 is considered still OK for dogs) She’s also on antibiotics, but nothing seems to be working. What is the recommended dose?

      Hi Dina,

I am sorry to hear about your dog’s tumor. Those can be so frightening to treat, but often they do go away with holistic treatment.

I recommend when treating something like a tumor that you go after it more aggressively. Meaning with higher doses more often if possible. Give at least 1 Tablespoon up to seven times a day, plus spraying on the tumor biopsy as often. – You could purchase a higher PPM for external use if you can find the 100ppm variety. I will be offering a higher dosage PPM for such difficult type situations. I would also give homeopathic ‘Thuja’. Which is great for tumors and warty type growths. It is possible this is a fatty tumor, in this case, keep treating and change the dog’s diet if you haven’t already.

these lumps are actually caused by the accumulation of Fat, and we believe it is caused from a dog’s diet that has been too rich in grains (this include rice, oats, bran, wheat, etc).

It’s a common thought that a dog’s digestive system is just not properly equipped to completely handle these types of foods, and as a direct result of this inability to properly digest, there then becomes this accumulation of food, which just converts to this mass of phlegm and damp (FAT!).

The second cause may be a weakening digestive system, because either the dog was perhaps born with it, or just the dog getting older causes the digestion to decline as they age. So what do we do about that? Again, work with the the diet and find foods that your dog can digest properly. Just because you have been feeding your dog the same food for some time that does not mean that at this age, it won’t cause a problem. Nobody, dog or person stays the same for a lifetime.

I hope it is this type and not the cancerous type as these are easier to deal with.

Let me know how it goes, OK?

Hi. I was told by my veterinarian that giving cats CS in their water regularly will make their teeth turn blue. I would like to know if you have ever seen this happen. I have a cat who has feline herpes and I want to dose his water daily to help minimize his symptoms.

    Thanks.

      Hi Christine,

I have never heard of colloidal silver turning the teeth blue! I have been using it personally as a mouthwash twice a day for about 2 years at least- very consistently and giving it to my 3 year old pomeranian for about that long as well. I give it to her as a preventative, for dental plaque and for parasites. She has neither plaque nor worms, and sparkling white teeth with no hint of blue. As for my own teeth, I went to the dentist recently for a cleaning, which I have to admit I hadn’t done for a few years. They were surprised just how good my teeth looked for not haven’t been cleaned in so long. No plaque and no blue either!

I have to say, your Vet hasn’t done their research. I’d like to see the documentation if he has proof of this. However, It works well to fight against the herpes virus, which is a very persistent bugger- so it requires very consistent dosage in their water ( better yet, directly into the mouth with a syringe) and topically where the lesions are as well. Herpes can definitely be helped, and minimized for sure using CS, but it is a process. It is also necessary to really amp up the immune system with supplements, raw food and probiotics as well.

Do not worry about turning the teeth or skin blue- it is not going to happen unless you give mega doses all the time! 1 tablespoon directly in her mouth 2-3x a day is fine for a cat that has a chronic health condition you are treating. Even more if needed is going to be fine for a treatment period of a couple months, then cut back for a maintenance dose in the waterbowl.

Don’t worry and best of luck with getting rid of that nasty herpes-

Thank you for the reply. I have done much research myself and have not found anything about CS turning cats teeth blue. Non holistic/alopathic MDs and veterinarians typically do not research holistic health solutions for their patients.

Hi Janet- Yes I would most certainly for the the Colloidal SIlver to treat your cat’s nose silver. I cannot say myself that I have used it for that specific issue. But it has worked on so many other diseases and proven to help skin cancer I would really give it your best shot if it were me! I did just had a customer that used it for her cat’s herpes and it worked like a miracle cure for her- the cat was a death door’s and it worked like nothing else she had tried to bring her kitty back to the living! GEt as much into the cat and on the lesion as you possibly can every day for a couple weeks and see what happens!

I am so sorry I do not ship it to the UK as it wouldn’t be price effective. I would go to your local health food shop there or Amazon UK,

Hi… My 17 year old kitty airways blocked from mucus and or we don’t know what. Because of this blockage, he can barely breath through his nose or smell, which means he isn’t eating very much. I am aware if he doesn’t eat … he and his kidneys & liver are all at risk. I am taking a steaming shower with him 4 time a day so his airways open and he will eat a little bit. I am administering subcutaneous fluids under the skin every other day, B vitamin shots once a week, daily antibiotics & steroids and every 3 days I give him an appetite stimulator.

Because two rounds of two different antibiotics have not worked in over 6 weeks, my vet is ruling out an upper respiratory infection. Since my kitty has a history of having an polyp in his ear, my vet is recommending a CATscan (no pun intended) and she hopes to find a polyp so she can remove it and provide him with some relief. She also says there’s a chance that it could be a tumor. His 2 eyelid is protruding on the left rye and the eye is weeping.

I am also looking for anything else additional to help him. the procedure is risky with his, age, health conditions and he has a heart murmur. I am wondering if it were your kitty what would you do? I am going to start giving him silver. can you please suggest a dose orally, in the ear, eye and topically right on the skin. Considering his CKD and murmur.. and would you have the catscan to see what is going on and maybe removing a polyp if that is the issue. thank you in advance.

      Hi Lindsay,

I am so sorry to hear about your poor senior kitty’s breathing problem. Ahhh….;-( Sounds so mysterious the symptoms he is experiencing.
My guess is that there is a tumour or polyp of some kind as your Vet suspects – in the meantime most definitely dose him aggressively with colloidal silver. I would give him up to 7 times a day about 10cc in an oral syringe into his mouth. Spray his fur, or even getting some into his nose and eyes, Let him lick it off his fur- I would think the CS will start working pretty quickly if it is going to work for this. GIve it a try most surely. It is not going to hurt anything that is already being done.

Let me know how it goes…OK?
